Matchmaking - How does it work?
In the afternoon there is time for scheduled matchmakings. During these matchmaking sessions we facilitate 1 on 1 conversations with pre-selected counterparts. This is an easy and fast way to meet potential partners in 20 to 30 minute conversations. Follow the next steps to make your own meetings and matchmaking a success.
1. Register
Click on the link "register now" and follow the registration steps. Once the registration has been approved you will automatically receive updates regarding the next steps
Note: To ensure that you receive all relevant information related to this event, it is important that you use a valid and personal e-mail address.
2. Create your company profile
Your company profile will be visible to all participants. The more information is visible, the easier it is for potential partners to get in touch with you about a relevant topic. Up to the time of the event, it is possible to change your company profile at any time.
Marketplace
In the company profile you can add a marketplace option. Here companies can add what they have to offer and what they are looking for. We assume that every company has at least one opportunity for the marketplace.
3. Register for the matchmaking sessions
Select the matchmaking sessions you are available for in the agenda, otherwise it will not be possible to receive or send invitations or requests for the sessions.
4. Book 1 on 1 meetings
The 20 - 30 minute 1:1 sessions provide enough time to get in touch with each other. when the time is up a bell will ring to remind you that it is time to move on to the next call. In your schedule you will find the table number where your sessions will take place.
You need to book your own sessions. You do this by:
- View the participant list and marketplace profiles;
- Use the optional filters to filter for companies that match what you are looking for;
- Send invitations to the parties you want to join a matchmaking session with;
- Accept or decline requests you receive.
Be active, not reactive.
Adding a relevant comment about why you are interested in a meeting increases the chance that your request will be accepted.

Your up-to-date meeting schedule is visible to you at any time in your online calendar.
Chatting to other participants
When you are registered for the event and logged in, you can chat with other participants by following the steps below:
- Go to the participants list
- Select the participant(s) you want to chat with and select the message button
- This will open a chat page that is accessible in the top menu.
It is also possible for participants to send a message directly from the conversations. To do this, click on the plus button after which you can search and select a participant.
It is possible to have group chats with up to a maximum of 8 participants in one conversation. These conversations are in real time, so it is not necessary to refresh these conversations in your browser.
In case you do not want to receive messages, you can disable notifications in your account settings.
5. Preparation | day of the event
